Senior Pastor Alan Carson Sr. has almost 30 years of pastoral experience . He grew up in the Chicago area. In September, 1980 he trusted Christ as his savior. Pastor Carson has a BA in Bible from Northland International University. He also has a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies and a Doctorate in Pastoral Theology.

He and his wife Amy were married in 1984 and the Lord has blessed them with five wonderful children: Amanda, Alan Jr, Anna, Andrew, Alicia.

Pastor Carson is an avid sports fan and sports have played a vital role in his ministries over the years.

Youth Pastor Jim Davis joined the Staff of Merson Church in September 2000 as Youth Pastor. He graduated from Liberty University  with a B.S. in Accounting and a minor in Bible. He and his wife, Amy have 3 children: Arianna, Nathan, and Grace. Jim enjoys sports and spending time with family and friends. His favorite verses are John 8:12 and Matt. 5:14. His desire is to see the youth continue to grow to know God and to share Christ with others.
